Ask ten people what well-being is. You'll get eleven answers.
Every human wants the same thing: to flourish. Most of us confuse well-being with chasing satisfaction, hustling for success, or optimizing ourselves like machines.
The question isn't complicated, we've just forgotten who we are.
Humans. One species with the same fundamental needs. This course gives you a universal language to understand your human needs as well as your place in the wider world.
When we start with what we have in common, we understand our uniqueness better too.
WHAT YOU'LL UNCOVER
Each concept creates a shift in how you see yourself, and your place in the world.
Concept 1: We All Want the Same Thing
Well-being isn't found in achievement, acquisition, the right relationship, or contentment. Well-being is what happens when your true needs are met consistently.
Shift: From chasing highs to finding rhythm.
Concept 2: Humans Are [Super]Nature
You are both nature — a body with biological needs — and supernature — a conscious being capable of observing, creating, and reorienting. Flourishing requires looking after both.
Shift: From treating yourself like a machine to understanding yourself as a living system.
Concept 3: Human Purpose Is Universal
Your purpose isn't hidden. It's universal: to become who you could be. Potential unfolds through tending, not striving.
Shift: From a complicated quest to a steady, daily practice.
Concept 4: There Is a Map to Your Purpose
The Hero's Journey isn't just for myths — it's the universal map of human development. Your struggles aren't detours. They're the path.
Shift: From seeing struggle as failure to recognizing it as growth.
Concept 5: There Is a Method to Undo Madness
Anxiety, anger, and apathy aren't character flaws. They're natural signals of neglected needs. The madness clears when needs are met.
Shift: From confusion and noise to agency and influence.
Concept 6: The Goal of the Individual Is the Goal of the Collective
Self-care isn't indulgence — it's the only reasonable place to begin. A healthy society can't be built by unwell individuals.
Shift: From fighting outward battles to cultivating inner vitality.
Concept 7: The Way to Make the World a Better Place, Is to Be a Better Part of It
Agency is the new activism. Tending builds agency. Agency creates influence. Influence creates change.
Shift: From guilt about self-care to understanding it as social responsibility.
